Kelrah of Delhyn 004

July 17, 2007 at 5:25 pm (Kelrah Of Delhyn)

The boys were entering from the door sidelong to them, six boys this time, they were all in Benli’s barrack. They were his group so to say. They had to fight with the girls’ team against the Betngal team, the other boys never really ever fought with the girls’ team.
Benli lead them, his black and red head in the front of the others as he walked toward Kelrah.
Tazen followed second, his hair was a shimmering white, the exact opposite of Tiona, whom hated him.
Following him was Matttak, with red eyes and hair, smiling to the crowd as if they were only cheering for him. He was often a foolhardy boy, but he had his moments.
Then Genovin, his hair was brown like dirt, all but one bright blue streak straight down the part in his hair. His face was set in stone, as if unaware of what was going on around him. Genovin was almost never talking and was extremely shy, but the tall and gangly boy could definitely hold his own in battle.
Next to Genovin walking at a leisurely pace was Quaen.
The muscle of the boys, whatever he lacked in quickness he made up for in brute strength, and brutality. No one called him all brawn no brains, he was as quick as the wind and was a wiz at anything he tried, mastering it almost momentarily.
Lastly came Yuuto, coming out in style with fancy flips and spins in the air, he was always a crowd pleaser, he never though before acting either. He stopped next to Mien and kissed her hand delicately, causing her to blush.
Kelrah shoved him back, “Why don’t you go kiss Matttak’s hand?”
Yuuto looked at her as if she was crazy. And Kel told him, “We’re all one team, kissing Mien’s hand shouldn’t be any different than Matttak’s. Stop treating us differently.” She glared at him once more and turned on her heal to watch the entering of the Betngal team.
Yuuto was about to say something but Benli shook his head; he really didn’t want any more latrine duties.
Never in history had a woman ever maid Wehah on Bengal land. They strutted in cockily; they stood shoulder to shoulder their great bulk taking up that half the arena. Muscles ripples across their bare chests, and the veins seemed to throb in their neck at the same beat.
A unanimous glare came to faces of the girls, even the docile Mien, as they strutted confidently to their benches. These boys could not win.
Kelrah match was first. She stood tall and grinned a twisted grin, to throw off opponent. Strutting to the large chalk drawn circle in the middle of the Arena, her knaff light in her hand, her mind was focused on only one objective; knock him out of the circle. Get them out, anyway possible, without being put out of the circle herself.
Her opponent gave her a self assured smirk, Kelrah scowled back.
The whistle blew and they started sidestepping one another waiting for their opening.
“What’s a pretty little thing like you doing in the arena? None of your foolish men would take you? I would, such a fragile thing.” He mocked her with baby tones.
“I’d rather be torn apart by the protyn, you foul disgusting idiot.” Kel sneered.
He glared at her insult, but mocked her none-the-less. Why do you continue to turn from me, my flower? Afraid I might hurt you on contact?”
“You? Hurt me? Not a chance. You don’t seem very bright anyway.” Kelrah smirked at him.
“And how would that be?” He asked her with a bit of a pout.
Kelrah lunged forward knaff at ready, pulling out to the side she smacked the boy in the side of the rib cage.
He toppled over clutching his side. “Never leave yourself open stupid, which would be rule number one.”
With astounding swiftness, especially for a Betngal, the boy swiped his knaff across her feet and knocked her to the ground as well.
The air knocked from her lungs Kel laid there for a fraction of a second before flipping herself to her feet once again. Just as the Betngal stood to his feet, Kelrah got in a quick shot to his shoulder, trying to steer him from the ring. Stumbling a few feet the boy glared at her.
“You should be nicer to me girl, maybe then I wouldn’t have to hurt you so badly.” He told her lunging forward to smack her head, Kel duck a mere second from contact.
“Ha! You cannot even think of the pain I will bring you, weakling.” Kel said lunging for him, barely missing.
Kel spun her knaff over her head and spiraled quickly down to hit the Betngal in the thigh. The sharp end cut into his leg slightly and he fell to the ground. “Get up and take your beating like the boy you are and the man you’ll never be.”
Benli watched the transaction from the sidelines. Though he could not make out the words both fighters were exchanging he knew that Kelrah was taunting her opponent. The buff boy did not seem to enjoy it, at all.
It wasn’t often that Kel yelled at someone besides Benli anyway, and he had to admit that he enjoyed it when it wasn’t him.
A smirk graces his face as he turned from the fight to examine the other girls, all of which were beautiful. And they smiled as Kel beat that boy to a pulp. It was hard to believe anyone got along with the Dragon, a nickname Matttak had invented for the snappy girl.
Pip and Nadia were undoubtedly the most beautiful in his opinion. And every one of the boy knew that Yuuto had fallen for Mien, Benli just awaited the wedding date. At least if they got married there would be one less girl around. Married women could never be Wehahs.

“They were his group so to say.” I do not know what you’re trying to say here.

“Tazen followed second, his hair was a shimmering white, the exact opposite of Tiona, whom hated him.” Correct with who instead of whom. Whom is used with prepositions I believe.

“he never though before acting either.” huh?

“Never in history had a woman ever maid Wehah on Bengal land” Made, obviously.

Why do you continue to turn from me, my flower? Afraid I might hurt you on contact?” forgot a ” at the beginning.

    What’s a “protyn”?

Mmmmm… Benji’s last comment. I don’t know what I think about that boy. Some of this thoughts are really nice and he sounds really sweet, or sort of, and then he goes and says something stupid that I just want to smack him upside his head. We’ll see, well, I will, how he turns out. I totally can see him, the cockiness and sometimes being a jerk-ness, as a real person, which is a great achievement. Congrats. I can’t wait for more.
