Ryme for a Reason 7
“It was only a kiss.” Ryme told him, looking down at her hands as she twisted them infront of her.
“Only a kiss? How can one even be sure you’re a virgin?” Nalo asked in an instagating tone.
“It was my first kiss.” Ryme informed hi quietly.
“Your first? What, today? This week?” Nalo goaded her, wiht a glare, he had advanced on her so they were only about a foot from one another.
“My first ever.” Ryme mummbled.
Nalo’s eyebrows shot up, he had gotten his fair share of kisses throughout his life, he had just wanted to make her feel guilty. And by the way that she said it, he knew she wasn’t lying, and her face was beet red. Which gave more to the evidence that she was being painfully honest.
“Do you ever lie?” Nalo asked her with a confused look on his face.
“No, at least I try not to.” Ryme admitted.
Ryme hated this, she was so awkward around him, and her heart was stil beating wildly from Roan’s kiss, and she was afraid Nalo would tell her father.
“Are you going to tell my father?” Ryme mummbled to him. Nalo was a bit shocked, the thought had never actually crossed his mind. Then he grinned to minself, on the inside.
“I hadn’t decided.” He told her with a sly grin. “Maybe you could sway my vote?” He suggested.
Ryme finally looked up into his face, she looked completely confused. “What do you mean?” Ryme asked with no idea what was going on in Nalo’s mind.
Nalo rolled his eyes and stepped forward and put his hands on her waist, putting her flush up against the tree trunk once more. Ryme was bright red, and would not look into his face.
“What,” Ryme gulped, looked around, stil not meeting his eyes, “What are you doing?”
“Swaying my choices.” Nalo told her with a smirk. It really was far too easy to tease this girl. He leaned in closer to her, and Ryme tried to push him from her, tears in her eyes.
“Please, stop it.” She asked him in a whisper, still pushing his chest.
Pausing Nalo looked at her, “What, you let the servants kiss you, why can’t I?”
“Because, I know him, I don’t even like you.” Ryme told him honestly, even though she feared his reaction.
Nalo was actually taken back, the honesty of this girl was strange, and he was shocked to find that her words actually hurt him.
They both had no idea that they were not the only ones in the wood, and while their attention was only being payed to one another, four large men had snuck up on them.
“You don’t know me well enough to dislike me.” Nalo countered, his face still inches from hers.
Ryme was starting her retort when Nalo suddenly when limp against her, she wasn’t ready to hold his wight, nor was she strong enough, so she fell to the ground with him.

I really like how you leave yourself comments. Thats something I would probably do. But I would have said something like this, “wow Keelee you are one hell of a writer, I wish I could write as well as you” Any way just thought I’d leave you a comment.
